Clean Eating for the Whole Family
Our ethos is simple: No antibiotics, no growth hormones, no weird additives, and no herbicides or pesticides on our fields. Just certfied organic, Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) meats and eggs that are as clean and natural as they are savory and delicious. In other words, it’s the kind of food you can feel good about putting on your family’s table. Visit our online shop for bulk orders and meat sampler boxes, or come see us at the farmers market for individual meat cuts and fresh, cage free eggs.
Grass Fed & Finished Beef
Our Wagyu/Black Angus cattle are raised in open fields where they consume ONLY high quality pasture grasses; no corn, no grain, no soy, no pellets, no animal products, no chicken manure as feed (yes, this is done). They eat nothing but grass from birth to finish, making these true, pasture raised cattle.
The result is a versatile and exquisitely tasting protein with exceptional nutritional benefits, including higher levels of antioxidants, vitamins, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and Omega 3 compared to standard beef. To prepare this beef for your family, it is dry-aged, cut and portioned, wrapped and ready for your freezer.
Natural foragers, our pigs dine on sweet local grasses and a corn-free, soy-free supplemental feed of organic dried peas and barley that we grind in our own hammer mill.
Bulk orders of whole, half and quarters are customizeable with an option for uncured bacon and ham.
Grass Fed & Finished Lamb
Our certified organic grass fed and finished lamb has no comparison. The meat is tender and nutritious, boasting a balanced Omega 3:6 ratio similar to salmon, with a sophisticated flavor profile that's mild, sweet and meaty.
Bulk orders of whole or half lambs may be customized to your liking, with crowd pleasing cuts including rib and loin chops, shanks, shoulder roasts, kabob cubes, stew chunks and ground meat for easy dinners.
Grass Fed & Finished Goat
Our certified organic goats are grass fed and finished, raised on pasture munching Ellensburg's famed sweet grasses and nothing more. Their meat is tender and mild, yet distinctive, offering a unique and unparalleled dining experience. An ideal alternative to red meat, goat is lower in calories, total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol.
Bulk orders of whole goats may be customized to your liking, with crowd pleasing cuts including rib and loin chops, roasts, spare ribs, kabob cubes, stew chunks and ground meat for easy dinners.
Pastured Heritage Turkeys
Rich, juicy and full-flavored, our Certified Organic Narragansett Heritage breed turkeys are sure to be the star of your holiday table. Just like the birds that graced your grandparents’ tables, Narragansett turkeys are untouched by modern feats of food engineering.
Our birds are raised on open pasture where they forage for grass, worms and insects and have access to a corn-free, soy-free supplementary feed that is a blend of organic dried peas and barley that we grind in our own hammer mill. They take twice as long as factory farmed birds to mature, but this labor of love has its perks. Darker breast meat and a layer of fat beneath the skin create a rich, deep flavor you simply can’t find in a conventional turkey. Turkeys are between 8-18 pounds and available fresh or frozen in November. Reserve in advance! They always sell out.
Our Freedom Ranger chickens are real, honest free ranged with exceptional, old school flavor and texture unlike anything you'll experience from the grocery store. A favorite of Julia Child’s, Freedom Rangers are a French breed prized for their rich flavor.
After spending their first two weeks warm and cozy in our nursery, they are set out to live the rest of their days on our certified organic pastures, free to forage for grass (up to 30% of their diet), worms and insects. No corn or soy for these birdies! Their supplemental feed is a blend of organic dried peas and barley that we grind in our own hammer mill. Chickens are sold whole and range from 3-5 pounds.
Cage Free Chicken Eggs
Our honest to goodness, free range chicken eggs come from laying hens that are free to roam from the hen house to the field and everywhere in between. They subsist on a diet of foraged grass (up to about 30% of their diet), worms and insects, and have access to a corn-free and soy-free supplemental blend of organic dried peas and barley that we grind in our own hammer mill. Eggs are available for pick up from our ranch, farmers markets and our supportive area vendors: Better Life Natural Foods in Ellensburg and Maggie’s Pantry in Roslyn.
